OH wow I love that it was a poem first here’s Eva’s song. https://youtu.be/arCs2Lw1Nu8
What is so amazing is that a friend of mine first shared Eva with me and she passed in 1996. She’s actually more known now in her death then when she was alive. I love this poem put to much. I’m happy to see this. I love poetry. Hugs and thank you for letting me know this. ღ I learned something new today! Yay! Hugs
My pleasure. Thanks for the link to Eva….
The Scots adore their ‘Robbie Burns’….even have a ‘Burns’ Night’ around 25th January each year. Great night of Festivities in Scotland.;) Hugs! ❤
Oh wow A you are so smart you always seem to know so many interesting facts. I love that. I do love that song too. I went back to the song that Eva sang to see if she mentions this poet and she does not. I really love knowing this. I also love Auld Lang Syne. I like the way he writes. So beautifully! Poets and songwriters they are so closely related. I think! 😉 Have a super day.
Oh isn’t that neat how that happens? It goes around and around. Great writing lives on as we do what we are doing now sharing about it. 😀 🙂 You cheered me up A.
Well not so good health wise. I broke my L3 vertebrae trying to lift my girl when she fell so I’m recovering slowly! I’m not very patient when it comes to being still! LOL Oh well! It will all come in time. I know this! Have a blessed Sunday! 😀
This is gorgeous M.

When I was at school, I was told the best way of saying grace was “Heavenly pa, ta” 🙂

I believe it was from a poem or folk song he read or heard once and adjusted it to make that.
