Boots

Boots where you going with my girl?

For some reason she felt these boots would dance her into the perfect life.

I noticed you cast aside like some love does when it doesn’t know what it has.

Hey boots say hi to your replacement pointy toe Sally, she’s the new boot in her life.

      1. Same to you Holly! I took my girl to Branson on a spur of the moment trip. I needed to get away so I took Friday off and we drove there. Rode in a boat on the lake, swam a lot now I’m back at at work today! 🙂 ❤ Hope you had a good one! 🙂 ❤

      2. Odd how one part of the country can be bone dry and another too much rain! We seem to have a good balance this year although the heat is too much! Oh well. The older I get the more I love the cool I think! ❤ Big hugs Holly!

      3. OH it sure does. I’m constantly watching my gauges and my car is newer. But still I watch them. Alex’s jeep is having radiator problems so I’m thankful for our cars. So thankful they get us to where we need to go. 🙂

      4. I knew what you meant. I think everyone is feeling the same way we are! 🙂 ❤ This morning it was so hot when I let my dog out there isn't a coolness to the morning air at all. That's when you know it's SUMMER for sure! 🙂 Dog days lol

      5. I travel a lot Michelle, In Miami we had no winter to speak of , no fall, everything is tropical. In Daytona we had a couple of nights in the high 40″s in Feb. and some of the trees turned brown. We don’t get the seasons really. I was in Europe in late November, it was wonderful, cold and beautiful, but no snow there then. Love ya! 🤗

      7. OH wow I lucky you. I would love that too. My Pa spoke German but we are Finnish go figure. I don’t know if I’ve ever shared this with you or not but shortly before he passed he forgot English and spoke mostly German. It was kinda funny because my brother, sister and I had to brush up on our German to speak to him. It’s amazing what the mind remembers. I took German in school but all I remember now is all the lyrics to Ole Tannenbaum. Haha 😀

      8. It blew me away. And he remembered things I had forgotten, like they were yesterday. There was a sweetness to his demeanor. I’m thankful for that time. He was alway a tough military kind guy. 💛🌼🤗
