I know this is a very old proverb, but the truth behind it is immense. It is exactly the same as āLook Before You Leapā. Rushing in to something will get you hurt, or worse. Always think before you do something. Iām not saying donāt be spontaneous, because spontaneity can be the spice of life. Just donāt make rash decisions, especially life altering decisions. I did that. And it gave me nine months of hell. Think about the future. Think about where it would take you. Try to see yourself in a year after making that decision. Try to see yourself in a year after notĀ making that decision. Do what you want, but think. Donāt rush into marriage. Donāt rush into throwing away your job. And more importantly, donāt make promises you know you canāt keep.
