My beautiful girl

I just got back from Texas, and seeing my Alex. She’s recovering from her second surgery and we await her eye sight to be restored. Meanwhile, her right eye, she has been blind for 10 years, started to slowly regain vision. At first it was blurry like a baby seeing, and now she can read with it. What a miracle.

I decided to drive her down to Galveston so she can see the ocean. We walked to the jetty and then back, then we shopped at Murdocks, but honestly, I just wanted to take her to see the ocean.

I always said I wanted to take her to the ocean when she was little, and something in my heart said today is a perfect day for the beach. We stayed a couple hours, and it sure warmed my heart to see her smile, and for her to see the ocean with her own eyes.

My pray the vision is restored in her left eye, soon. It’s been a tough journey, so I haven’t shared much about it because it’s been a lot to hold. I’m thankful for God’s grace. 🙏🏼🤍🕊️

I love that it was overcast and not too hot. I thought it was interesting that there were no shells.

I think every parent takes videos of their kid in the ocean. We were just a little later in her life. 😂
