Bling pointed out that there were flags hanging from the city hall building on the left. I love the way the building look in shots like this! I got a t-shirt like the new flag colors, light blue with red stars. I love that! I also got BB that shirt she’s wearing! I ❤ skyscrapers
I have no idea what building this is! I spent most of my time with my head in the sky!
Did I mention how much I love skyscrapers? Skyscrapers in Chicago ❤ I ❤ skyscrapers
The building opened in May 1985 as the State of Illinois Center. It was renamed in 1993 to honor former Illinois Republican Governor James R. Thompson. This building takes up an entire city block in downtown Chicago. Bling and I loved the elevator and all the windows and the architecture.
Check out the roof, to me this is so interesting!
This is the left side of the entrance from where we were standing. It looks like a ship to me! I love that
This is the right side of the entrance from where we were standing.
This was Bling’s idea to take photos of the other buildings through the glass. I thought that was really cool! Bling is a great tour guide and she sure loves her city of Chicago! It’s her kind of town! 😉
I haven’t quite decided what to do with all the photos I took while visiting Chicago.
