Don’t think it won’t stop me

The clock strikes midnight slowly
and I wrestle with the knowing
I’m breaking your heart just like
you easily broke mine

The difference between you and me
and it’s plain for me to see
Come midnight
I’ll still remember you

Lilac whispers filled the air not the scent but the presence
of lilac fell sweetly on face, as he gazed and asked…
“Would you like some coffee?” she smiled and
whispered, “why yes…yes I would.”

I was sitting on the porch when I spotted something new, lilac thistle and I swear I heard it whisper! Shhhhhh!
