keep me in your heart for awhile

Recently I suffered a huge blow to the heart and before I could recover, boom another!
Today I realized out of my greatest rejection, comes my greatest direction!
I’m not looking back there’s nothing there but ahead are new horizons
New dreams, New thoughts, New possibilities
I am headed in that direction!

I feel you are near~my heart will go on searching
It takes awhile for me to get it, for it to sink
down to the marrow
that you are gone
my mind cannot fathom
I still watch my clock thinking of you
waiting for you, I caught myself
then I had to remind myself
you are gone
how can that be?
