Where are you?

Where are you?
I have gone to find you
If you were gone
my heart would know
Where are you?
I’ve checked in the valley
I’ve checked on the mountain top
but now I fear you might be gone
and I missed you I didn’t say goodbye
Where are you?

The season of change

The season of change
caught me by surprise
Usually I see it coming
this time I didn’t
It stops me still
wondering if I forever will
always be learning but never
coming to the full
knowledge of anything?

Among the flowers & the sunrises I will be

Among the flowers & the sunrises I will be
Waiting for the storm to pass
for the pain to set me free
I have loved, given and extended
my heart too much, it bleeds
I thought it was all healed up
But warnings I never heed
I always wait till the repairs
are far too great I retreat
I can be found
Among the flowers & the sunrises

Sweet On You
You know that feeling~when you are thinking?
He might be sweet on me~I know I am sweet on him
It makes me smile~I don’t dare say a word
I just think to myself~can this get any sweeter?

NO LEFT TURNS~Another Felicity tale

noleftturns

I knew a girl called Felicity
Who turned left with great difficulty
I asked why was that
But she called me a prat
And set off right at velocity

A Solitary Tear

A solitary tear runs down my face
but I do not know the reason
for it’s existence
some say I am a happy child
and should consider myself lucky
oh but you don’t know the
turmoil that rocks my soul
It twist and turns
and it never lets go
only to give me a moments reprieve
and then again it goes
my mind it deceives
Once I thought I freed myself
away from all it’s grasps
I turned to run but that fellow
I found he moved to fast
so I waited and waited
till a clearing I saw it
I cut away I ran
I kept on running so fast
Ran over the dry parched land
I think I’m still running
someone please stop me

I was reading Richard’s poem and I suddenly remembered this poem I had written when I was young in my teens. It was odd for me because I didn’t have many memories of my childhood up to very recently so to remember something from that long ago was so interesting to me.
