Sweet memories
like gumdrops
that make me smile
Sweet memories
sitting on the porch
waiting with you while
the sun set
you got this look in your eye
the stories would fly
and I your captive
your words whisked me away
they still do I can hear you
in my mind reminding me
“you are good Micki
you are smart Micki
you are my will o’the wisp
with pretty blue eyes
and golden hair
none can compare to you”
Sweet memories
Miss ya Pa
