Let me out
of my four-legged pen
and have my eyes
come out to play–––
I’m sick of all these “rules”
and “expectations.”
Fear?
A chamber only dark
horses go away to,
don’t seem to like it
yet they rest on anyway
in their own gloom.
Closed doors define
so don’t let me get away;
I am capable of freedom
I understand my mind
has crevices I do not know
and still others I do
but am unwilling to explore.
Pass up the world’s grandeur
and pure energy
for a kiss and a light beer?
One day we shall come out
of the dark,
stammering like stallions
embracing the golden swell
we know forever well,
to be light.

Pink Friend Morgan~We love you sweet friend! Loads of prayers and hugs to you sweet one! ❤
I love this sweet PInk friends heart sending songs of love to our sweet Morgan friend. We love you Morgan! ❤
My love is like the rose of Sharon and the lily,
Abloom among brambles,
So is my love among the daughters.
As the apple tree thrives in the wood,
So is my love among the sons.
I sit among them with great delight.
The flowers open on the earth;
The birds sing, and even the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land.
The winter is past, and the rain has gone.
O my dove, hiding in the clefts of the rock,
In the secret places of the cliffs,
Let me see your face,
Let me hear your voice;
For sweet is your voice.
— Paraphrased from Chapter 2, Song of Solomon (KJV and ESV)
To a friend whose inner beauty
Casts a radiance that warms us all,
And who finds peace and joy in this world
Despite her underlying sadness.
Even as your spirit grieves,
May you be showered with love.

The joy of bobber fishin’~he speaks Oklahoman like me!~ check it out!
http://natjourn2.com/
Fishing, that beautiful pastime, known the world over, is a true laymen’s science. Filled with colorful terminology like, rooster tails, spinner bait, jigs, spin casters, etc. A person could spend a lifetime learning it all, and a life’s fortune on all the gear. And, you know what? You can have it!
I prefer to pursue what is commonly called fishin’, in my neck of the woods. We don’t say, “I’m going fishing.” We say, I am going fishin’. What is the difference, you might ask?
We, who go fishin’, leave all the fancy-smancy stuff behind. We are minimalists. We take a handful of gear, and a rod and reel, and set off into the wild. We prefer to spend our money on beer…I mean…bait! as in a can of minnows or worms. We like to settle in on a pleasant bank, and bobber fish. This is where you hook a…

This is so funny because my feet are always cold and I’ve known about the Wool garment club most of my life! Michael’s take on Wool socks.
http://natjourn2.com/2014/09/21/wool-socks-2/
Last year, on a blustery winter day, I had a cathartic experience. Okay, maybe it wasn’t quite cathartic. It was cathartic minus the “cath” which gave me an “ARCTIC” experience! My ankles were cold, and it suddenly hit me, they had been cold ALL DAY. Cold all day and I was suffering in silence, not even muttering to myself. So, I pondered this, and it occurred to me that I was putting my clothes on without any thought at all. Here, it was in the dead of winter, and I was wearing socks so thin, you could strain tea through them (but, thrust me, you wouldn’t want to)! I thought, there has to be a better way to live! So, I did a little research and guess what, I discovered wool socks!
I must candidly admit that I was coming to the wool garment club a bit late. It turns out, that…
