Hug somebody Monday
JM said something that got me to thinking, “I read somewhere that babies give off pheromones that cause you to fall in love with them.” I think she’s right. I remember when Alex was a baby I feel in love immediately and when she was little she always smelled me and said, “Mommy let me smell you, yep you smell like Mommy.” When I hugged her or held her she always nuzzled up to my neck and smelled me. She still does to this day but not as much as I would love. Then I was thinking about hugs from your favorite person and how they feel so good and when they embrace you it’s like you can let go and be hugged!
Hug someone today, really hug them! I’m going to!
Instead Of Looking At The Hundred Reasons To Quit …
I believe A says it so well! Don’t give up! Perfect way to start the week! ❤️
… look at the thousand reasons not to give up.
Sometimes we decide to give up if there if we feel there is no chance at succeeding in something. We look at it and condemn it to eternal failure. But what if we look at it and say “What? You think I am going to give up just because you challenge me? There’s more where that came from!”
- You slide down a hill
Hold on to something and climb again - You trip
Stand up - You fail at a task
Look at it a different way and try again - You lose a race
Train and race again - Someone walks out of your life
Look at the space you now have, the freedom
There is always a way to look for the good in something. Always.
