It wasn’t the shoes
or the pumps in their hue
that caught my attention
that tonight
Was the smell of the air
it gave me a scare
when I saw the white dress
stand upright
I tried not to holler
Nor could I swallow
cause my breath caught
tight in my throat
the dress danced around
without touching the ground
I thought to myself
why dance alone
You might think it odd
and I say with a nod
I almost start to agree
When I looked closer still
my heart felt a thrill
I realized in the dress
dancing me
Ha…that was fun
I want a pink front door too! I love this!
Women Who Think Too Much by Jeanne Marie
This beautiful Pink Door is just one of my many 32nd anniversary presents from my husband. He wanted a green door but he painted the front door PINK to see me smile. This is the first song my husband dedicated to me 35 years ago, so it just seems like it all works together, my honey, the song, the PINK door and me.
Then there were Pink clouds and all was calm

I was thinking tonight you know I never claimed to be a photographer….I started out snapping pictures of things I think are beautiful! Life gets so busy and I think we all lose sight of the simple things. That is why I blog to remind myself and maybe some folks all that is beautiful! That’s beautiful to me…

I am never quick enough to catch them before they run! They scatter like Chaff driven by wind in the desert!
Oklahoma is home to several wild horse & mustang refuges. I love to watch them grazing! This is so cool to me!

Well you get the idea! Not the greatest pics from my iPhone! I needed to change my mind tonight so I did!
Donkey see? I do!!! I cannot believe me eyes! For 7 years now ever since I moved out of Tulsa….I take the long road home trying to catch this little fellow close to the road! Tonight I was watching the sun set and he walked up to the fence looked at me and started grazing like he finally decided to stop running every time I stop my car!
I took the long road home Route 66 heading east as far as I could go till the black top turned to dust! I stopped to watch the sun set on my day, my week. I think of the sickness my friends are suffering, on the sadness that plagues so many this time of year! The Winter Blues they call it, but I’m not blue! I’m just not I get heavy hearted when others seem to suffer so much but I wanted to show you something! See this big yellow ball in the sky? Well that’s the sun, I’m sitting here thinking of you praying you will find peace in your soul! I believe I’ll stay here till its gone! I’m so thankful for my eyes, nothing like this Oklahoma sky! To me!
