Paint for Me
Paint for Me on canvas
Your hopes and all your dreams
Are they really what you thought?
Are they yours or so it seems
that somewhere along the way
your dreams, they just got lost?
You scarified your soul
not counting all the cost.
Do you even know them?
In your heart, did they exist?
Or did you just pretend
as if you were amiss?
Now, The Master says to you
“I am placing in your hand
this brush of life, oh paint for me
and do it with aband.”

Carefully Held
I found my heart carefully held together in pieces!!! ❤ These words have stuck with me since I read it! Hugely profound for me….the last part~ each one bearing a part of the weight that would have been too much! Sometimes our heart break is too much as a whole but broken down into little pieces we can face it step by step, piece by piece till we are whole again! I know this!
