Tell Me About It

Let me get back to you

Show me the way to your mercy
Help me speak without choking
For my desire is your desire
and somehow I have fallen away

Let me get back to you

so I can wash in cool waters
and drink of your grace
my heart forever singing
of your wonderful loving embrace

Let me get back to you

I see you in the distance
waiting for me there
A friend in your forever
beside my empty chair

Let me get back to you

I say my words a whisper
Child I have been here waiting
for you to stop enough to see
I never moved a muscle
take your seat and let us be

Let me get back to you

Lost in all your glory
reminded of your love
showered with your sunsets
and your sunrises from above

Peace like a river flows

Peace be still my soul

Peace be still my soul
twist and turn around
Waiting to exhale
Hoping peace finds me soon
I rest my eyes on the living
There’s no hope in the dead
Fix my eyes on the life giver
Your blue surprise speaks
Peace to my soul
All is well

Nothing like a Momma’s love

In Awe of You

Last night it was all I could do to walk my dog. Mentally I am so tired and I usually pray and walk. I looked up to see this. I stood in Awe! I rested my tired eyes on this beauty and marveled that even when I don’t think I can’t take another step, I see something like this and my faith is strengthened. I looked around to see if anyone else was outside witnessing this, but it was just me standing there IN AWE! I love moments like this!

Hard to choose just 1—she got 4

Baby girl & Her Diva Zebra Tree

My Alexnaderia loves Zebra print, hot pink, lime green and all things Diva. Of course every girl needs a Diva Christmas Tree.

This from my sweet Uncle Gunn

I share a closeness with my day’s youngest brother my Uncle Gunnard. He has overcome much as we all have in this journey we call life. He encouraged me 2 years ago to find out who “Micki” is because I have lived in the shadows of Alex’s illness and lived vicariously through her. I love my Uncle for many reasons but his kind and gentle spirit move me always to love me more! He sent me this photo from the tulip festival in Wisconsin. So lovely!
