I was in a place, late 2008 to April 2009 where I could not even pray, even though my heart was with God. I was in such a dark place. I felt Him with me, but I could not utter a prayer. Until I knew how to break the darkness. God told me to speak. Imagine that.. Just as he did, he told me to speak out a word of praise. All I could say was “I love you God”. It was enough to let the light in. Since then, the climb up out of that place has been filled with much of His tender love and Grace. I am a different person because of what He has done with my life and I am so very thankful.
