Y’all I rarely see butterflies. I’m not the Butterfly Whisperer like JM is but LOOK what I saw I went outside to get some photos of my wildflowers and there was this little thing and it didn’t fly away usually I am never quick enough!

We had heaps of butterflies in our garden when I was a kid. My brother was obsessed with them. Most were average size, but occasionally a large black one would surface. They were almost the size of sparrows. My little brother spent hours trying to catch one. He did once, and it was beautiful – large, strong, velvety wings, gently beating in the sunlight. So light, yet sure and strong. Butterflies are like tangible light.
