This star showed up in my morning sky
I remember the day it showed, it was the only star
I saw this and I marveled at it’s brightness
I waited for the meteor shower but this is all I saw
One bright star. . .
Then I thought of you, how much you would love this
and I remembered you were gone
So I wondered~I asked God out loud
Is this your star? Would God do something like that
shine a star bright enough to capture my attention?
I think of you and my faith in God
and I think maybe I saw God today
in the stars, it was so bright I kind of think so
I miss you my friend
