Has anyone told you that you are beautiful?

sometimes

“Has anyone told you that you are beautiful,” he said?

Totally caught me off guard, I was lost in my work and stopped to look at myself because I seriously forgot what I was wearing today, and did I even fix my hair or put on makeup. Then I thought how, for some reason when I take a little jab, it hits me in my self-worth, and then that little spiral starts where I feel like doo-doo in a matter of mere minutes, sometimes instantly. I thought to myself let me get lost some place beautiful even if for a minute or two, so I headed to Paul’s blog. If I want to rest my eyes on beauty this is where I go. I asked if I could borrow one of his flowers of course he’s always a dear to offer.

So let me ask you the same question???

Has anyone told you that you are beautiful?

Because you are no matter what anyone says to you, or does never forget how beautiful you are. Gosh, every woman wants to feel beautiful. Tell that woman in your life today how beautiful she is because life gets so busy and crazy that we forget

  1. You’re beautiful inside, and outside Michelle. There is beauty within all of us. But..heck yes it feels good to hear the words. I’m impressed with the artwork!!!! 🙂

  2. Every woman is beautiful. The fact that they exist makes them beautiful. A woman can bring a life into the world, and that is so beautiful, The fact that they can grow a person. You, me, friends, we were all grown by a woman. So yes, a woman is beautiful.

      1. Haha I have just removed a couple of bits to see what it looks like. I did look in the mirror the other day, and saw me as an outsider would see me.

      1. Yes, life turns around so quickly at times. Glad you stood up for yourself..like you said, if you can avoid it, that’s the best way, but there are those times you have to take a stand 🙂 I had a good day, a little tired, I don’t know if the change in the weather or what…we expecting temps in the 60s for the next three days :O

      2. I’m not going to complain, especially after last winter and that stone age cold and snow and more cold 😀 I can handle throwing on a light jacket, for now….:)

    1. Oh no, not you as well! I’m a great deal better than I was too but it took a lot of therapy and I only really felt free after she died! It shouldn’t be this way. As Philip Larkin said, ‘They f**k you up, your mum and dad.’
