I’ve posted this before but today…
I felt like you and I might need some kindness!

I was thinking about the times when I feel alone
I realize in our alone-ness we feel isolated
We feel forgotten
We feel left out
We feel like nobody cares
That simply isn’t so
Trust me on this one when I feel alone
I reach out like I am right now
Reminding myself that I’m never alone
and I know it
Just sometimes when we put our hope
in people they can’t handle the pressure
and turn away
I’ve never really ever needed anyone in my life
but one thing I’ve come to know is that I choose
friends and ones that lift me up and choose me too!
I’m ok with no being chosen except today well it smarts a little!

Color me in Peace
Let me go to where
I last felt unrest
let me lay it to rest
let me see where
I first lost my Peace
Let me find it and make it
Let me follow after no one
that leads me from my mission
Peace in my heart and soul
Let me not stray
from the trail of good sense
Let me always be found in Peace
let me go back to where
I last felt unrest
let me lay that burden down
and go in Peace
