Standing for ALL THAT you believe in,
Regardless of life’s odds against you,
That pressures and tears at your resistance,

Keeping a smile on your face,
When deep dow inside you feel like dying,
As you give help in supporting others,
That’s strength.

While doing what’s in your heart,

That’s determination.

In helping make another’s life a little more bearable,
Without uttering a single complaint,
That’s compassion. 

Helping a friend in need at ANY hour,
Regardless of your the time or effort,

That’s loyalty. 

Giving more than you have to give,
Expecting nothing, but nothing in return,
That’s selflessness. 

Holding your head high, being the best you know,
That you can be,
As life falls apart beneath your feet,
Facing each difficulty in God’s trust,
In knowing that time will bring you better tomorrows,
