this. . .
momentary lapse of judgement
left me visually impaired
I was no longer cognizant
Nor was I aware
the enemy besieged me
tore me limb from limb
a shadow of my former self
Pleads with me from within
STOP-TURN AROUND DON’T GO
The hallows of that dungeon
‘Twas neither friend nor foe
STOP-TURN AROUND DON’T GO
Look up the light is shining
Away from down below
Your redemption draws nigh

Very positive thinking Michelle. There are times when we have to remind ourselves to keep moving forward, and not look back.

Absolutely my pleasure. Weekend was great except laptop got sick, almost died. Worked on it all weekend, today it resurrected itself. I think it was the threat of “Marine CPR”
That’s where you stand over the victim with a big ol’ steeltoedboot, first stomp is to the left side hollering Semper Fi, then right side, repeat. For the third stomp, you place the boot right over the heart, and start hollering before stomping their chest” I usually find they move before the boot comes down, or they’re already DEAD.

Know other reason why Marines keep those little backup battery jumper devices and cables in their vehicles. Portable defibulators))) In office, later when I got older, I kept modified extension cord in desk, cut off extender plug, strip 3 inches of sheathing off. You get the victim near a plug, use the positive and negative leads to give a little shock so you can shock heart and then start CPR. Battlefield makes you improvise often.

TY, I always try to be kind, polite and respectful as people will let me by being good people to themselves and others. It’s so much easier to find good in people and support them with love and kindness than the alternative. It takes so much effort to deal with Trolls and Bullies, but it’s a necessary evil. Ignoring them doesn’t work, it empowers them. I try to offer them alternatives, but in the end, I don’t fear anonymous dirtbags or their types. I may disagree with the viewpoints of others, but I respect their right to hold those viewpoints as long as they are not intended to harm others. I’m pretty simple, all in all.

Why I don’t take drugs to inhibit my Beast, he comes in handy on occasions like last night. A friend on Twitter was being bothered until Beast showed up, he writes in plain understanding language, plus his IP can’t be tracked through normal situations. Handy indeed, multiple accounts all anon. With numbers, comes strength.

Life is never predictable, but I try to stay prepared for most situations and normal people.
