I back away as I watch you sleeping with my soft kiss
I know you will miss, but I simply must go before you wake
and beg me to stay,
from the doorway the light on your face makes me wish things were…
after all the years I can’t bare the tears or the look in your eyes
my heart remembers you like this

    1. Good Morning, Michelle. Hope all is well. I’m getting ready to help set up for a childrens’ Christmas choral performance at Church, thankfully it’s inside, outside is only 38 now. brrrr
