Remember when life was an adventure?

Remember when life was an adventure?
Love was the song?
You sang at the top of your lungs
till you were hoarse and laughing?
Well it still is except
the adventure is real~it’s called life
Sweet friend
you know
that love song
well I hear you singing it
the second verse is my favorite part
I can hear your heart singing from here!
I love you

  1. Life is still a song MM, but I just can’t sing it as loudly as before. I tend to cough when I sing now, so mostly I hum, all day wherever I am, I hum. But the music lives on inside me, just more quietly now, more gently, but alive and keeping the dreams alive. My guitar is with my son, who is keeping it alive, I hope. He promised he would, but the music is alive in me. And happily, still alive in you my friend.

    1. Singing off key in a grocery store is fine. The day I was behind the microphone in church singing off-key was not good. But everyone joined the singing that morning to help drown me out. I should have done that more often, LOL. I would love to harmonize with you. ba baba ba boom baba boom de de dum dum dum.

    1. Wow! You should be proud. All caught up. Now that’s saying something! I missed seeing you, but I haven’t been on as much as I’d liked to have been.:)

      1. Mine is electric. I love it. I never leave it unattended. Turn it on low heat and high flames. I warms the room in 20 mins or less. So relaxing.

      2. Ive always been soothed by watching the flickering flames. Yes this westher is not kind to the skin. I crack a window to get a little fresh air. A black stove, now that is classic. Nothing probably works better today.

      3. That sounds like a plan to me. I did that recently, soaked in lavender scent Epson salt, and vanilla oil. I lit a candle & had a drink while I soaked. Loved it! It’s nice to pamper yourself.
