Yes indeed, coffee to order is a perk I would have enjoyed a great deal. I am addicted to Starbuck’s non-fat lattes and rarely get on I-40 without one. It’s also rare that I don’t have at least two a day here at home. Tom and I gave each other their coffee maker the year it came out and have enjoyed it almost every day. Hundreds and perhaps thousands of individuals make their living by having specialty coffee carts in government buildings.

I have my first latte beside me, fresh as I just made it and I thought of you as I was doing so. Normally I make 2 when I have my first one of the day but Tom is unable to have one today. His stomach doesn’t want to cooperate and that makes me sad. We’ve shared so many wonderful conversations over cups of coffee all around the world but none sweeter than in the comfort of our own home.

I didn’t know I was only moving through life until I opened my heart to Tom. There’s nothing like having unconditional love. I knew I’d always had it from my Dad – and from my 1st husband but then I had a long dry run when I threw my life into my work and didn’t think about love at all. I was more into having fun. Then Tom came along and love at first sight.

My kids have accused me of being addicted to whip cream – I put it on just about any warm drink or dessert. It does make me happy 🙂
