God has a looking glass designed just for you and me,
He works miracles every day in your life, look closer and you’ll see.
Those who rushed through the day, the thinkers and the doers don’t have a clue,
The many small miracles that He has laid out through the day, just for you.

There are those who think they are invincible, strong and bold,
They can prevail, they can conquer, but truly lost is their soul.
For they can skip through the day, draw strength from their ego to pave their way,
And not have a clue how they actually feel, yesterday or today.

There is a different way in life, a delightful, glorious, well illuminated path,
It requires getting simple, feeling humble, living each day as it would be your last.
Some do not want to surrender their power over people, places, and things,
For that is their driving force, this false sense of control that it brings.

If you are ready to surrender, and join in the beauty that today has to offer,
You are more than halfway there to beauty, peace, lots more found in Him here after.
