Took 1 hr and 20 mins to get to work and we live 27 miles away! Everyone that passed us ended up on the ditch! BB was a basket case by the time I dropped her off. Nothing scares me except the thought of her driving in this stuff. Literally ODOT did not do their job last night, the roads were snow packed ice and over 6″, non of them cleared. Tulsa streets are treacherous I didn’t see one sand or salt truck on the way from the hospital to the office. Someone has needs to do something before 5 o’clock.
looks really scary

We have ice galore up here. Even on our eaves. All our windows are dripping from ice dams.

6 inches sounds like a delight. We have well over 6 feet. Had trouble getting up my driveway again today. Water’s dripping into my daughter’s room. We’ve never had ice dams in the front before. Of course, we’ve never had so much snow at once either. 🙂

I hope the snow stop there! When we get snow like that out here, all hell breaks loose on the roadways.

Good to avoid lunatics in general, and lunatic drivers on slick roads, especially.
