I pulled into the college campus to take these and the campus police stopped me and asked what I was doing! I showed him my photos and he said wow….if you go down by the baseball field the buildings won’t be in the way! I need a sticker on my car that says “will stop for sunsets!” 😄

This is my sister Nicole. She said this was her happiest day with me. On her FB she posted my art and also reminded me that I literally used to take her to chase rainbows. I have mentioned before that many of my memories are gone and when I am reminded of them I remember them again! I’m so thankful that they are coming back one by one. I told her last night that if I completely forget like my Pa, she could be my memory like I was my Pa’s.
Nicole asked me last week if I would design some tags for her furniture, she designs and sells handmade furniture. I share with her some of my art, from another project I’m working on. She sent me several photos and we came up with this wonderful tag business cards for “My Favorite Things,” from her favorite movie is “The Sound of Music.”
Recently she redesigned my nephew, her son, Ezra’s room to be movie themed. He loves the Beatles, and old movies. Art is healing us. I know it! I love that art, has connected our hearts. We Facetimed for 2 hours last night! It all started from my sharing my art and she shared her’s and before I knew it we both were tears, healing tears, talking about my Pa’s passing. Our family has not been okay since he passed.
I’m so thankful for art and heart inspirations from my friends here you know who you are. Thank you so much for reaching out to me, your friendship means so much! I love you! Is it any wonder that the song “Somewhere over the Rainbow” is playing…oh I can be found somewhere over the rainbows chasing rainbows I’m so thankful for that memory. I didn’t want to forget again, so I blogged about it.

I come from a very large biological family of origin, but I am a misfit, not an outcast~ I have never fit in. Oh thank God, I don’t fit in, I never wanted to fit, or sit with the crowd! I never wanted to dance to anyone else’s song but my own. Here at this beautiful playground for my heart, WP…I found sweet friends and y’all have become like my family! Brother Richard shared this song with me. How cool is that? So cool to me!

Here it is the one I was searching for this Sacred Space. I love that we can escape here, prayerfully and peacefully, not in a retreat but in a welcomed surrender of all so freeing!
