To really weed a garden well, you have to know the weeds inside and out. Which have shallow roots. Which should be pulled in the rain. When they seed. Which have flowers that make them beautiful. It’s almost an art to be able to identify them in their infancy, when so many sprout looking alike. Horticulturists have to have so much information in their heads. It’s impressive. I took a little horticulture in college. Enough to be dangerous. 😉
Thanks, MM!! Fingers crossed. Publishers move glacially, so I won’t even find out if they LIKE it for months maybe. Still, I plan to move on and work on another book.
But – first let me go get my crown. LOL

Me, too. I let them grow in my garden, even though they are weeds to most people. To me, they are heaven.

Weeds have taken root in my heart, and I’m not sorry. I’m stronger for it.

Turns out, I’m too tired. The weeds have a reprieve. Another day, when I’ve met my deadline. 🙂
