The tree that was in this spot, literally was hauled off with a semi today. This tree ended up inside the man with the fences home, and his neighbors and also his and smashed his car and the neighbors cars. Freaks me out actually to see it.

This house was so damaged I didn’t want to show it all. This would have freaked me out and to think my house wasn’t touched. Don’t know what that means it’s just so something to me right now. I’m so thankful and grateful for the six homes on my street that were not touched.
OMG Mother Nature has a wild side. I’m so sad for your neighbors, but I’m glad you don’t have more on your plate. You have enough going on without your house or yourselves being hurt in a storm.

I guess we have to be brought low sometimes to appreciate our highs. But really!

I didn’t. My little street all the houses were spared. I watched it lift and go over the house. So crazy.

I don’t want to like these posts as they are so heartrending, but still want to acknowledge them. Blessing of blessings your street and home have not been touched! Xo

Yes it’s almost eerie. My neighbor and I stood and watched it come and he said Michelle I think it’s coming this way, and then I felt the cold air and then the rain and hail and he said run, and we did. I ran into my house and shut the door. I don’t know what made it lift and go over our houses but right after that he came knocking and said run it’s in the back yard and I did. The sheriff came running because he was chasing it too. It was the craziest thing ever. We all ended up in the backyard and my neighbors trampoline just went up in the air and was gone. It was blacker than the blackest black outside. Fire trucks and of course the sheriff lives across the street. But we weren’t hit. Craziest thing ever. I think I’ll put my storm chasing hat away for awhile. That was crazy but I got some really great photos! Kinda dumb but I can’t take cover I have to see it. I’m always the one standing in the middle of my field seeing which way it’s going! xoxo My Pa was a storm chaser too.

That’s amazing, for me never having experienced one, it sounds like a scene from out of a movie! The footage looked really unbelievable, you could really see the funnel and then it moved past, amazing how dark it was and then when it moved over it was all gone! So glad you were not hit! ❤
