Once Upon Another Time
because I was free
…now I know it!

It takes COURAGE to allow people in my life to think the worse of me.
It does, I’ve never lost more people because I needed to be me.
The most hurtful part is when I stopped trying to please
they went away…I realize I’m better off but…
Watching them walk away…well it took all my COURAGE to not chase after them.
some days all I have is a peep but hey at least I’m peeping!

I knew I could always count on you to be constant. I learned to read you like a book. If you were upset, I jumped to help you. It was my place. I loved that I could literally take you the pieces of a puzzle and I watched as you joyfully created yet another masterpiece, in my eyes. When you left I thought I lost my constant, but I realized today I am the one constant in my life. Thank you my friend.
