Look around you
Many things exist in silence
though the noise can be piercing
Silence your thoughts
Silence your eyes
Silence your ears
Silence your mouth
it is in that silence
the heart of God speaks

This truth I learned while sitting by my beloved Alexanderia as she was sick. I learned to be silent. Something that was so hard for me before and I finally realized for all my talking I sure wasn’t saying much! I have learned that silence can be my friend. That there is healing in silence.
