Little did he know this is one of my favorite songs and my Pa’s. I cannot believe it when I heard it this morning…..it sounded like angels singing to me. Wonder if my Pa was singing in heaven….I think he was. I can hear him singing this in my mind! When my Pa was passing we listened to this song over and over and over.

I wish I hope I dream and I believe,
That the best gifts in life are absolutely free.
I hold onto my dreams, big or small,
For He makes it all come true, and He makes it all.
No matter how impossible each turn may seem,
He is there in my life, navigating each and every scene.
As I pray for a big day, and put Him to the test,
He amazes me at the days end, with something greater yet.

I refused to be discouraged, to be sad, or to cry,
I refuse to be downhearted, and here’s the reason why…
I have Him who’s mighty, who’s sovereign and supreme,
I have Him who loves me, and I am on His team.
He is all wise and powerful, Salvation is in his name,
Though everything is changeable, He remains the same.

Turn your day around, and make it your best rainbow,
Wouldn’t that be great? Just listen, and then you’ll know.
You can abolish all of the brain clutter in your day,
To lead a glistening sparkling path along your new way.
Our lives can be cluttered with massive addictions,
It’s easy to be drawn in these daily life of afflictions.
I have to hit the like buttons on my social media page,
And spend at least two hours in posting the latest rage.
I have to make my mark in the latest trend on Google plus,
Then I have to make it to a new level today in Candy Crush.
Whatever the addiction, it is commonplace to see,
That addictions bring out the worst of you and me.
Take a walk in your good old favorite Park,
Watch the sunset there, see the stars and the moon long after dark.
Catch the reflection in a pond, or your favorite Lake,
Watch a boat go by and view the beautiful wake.
Do a little bit of a lot of things that are your favorite in the day,
And you will learn that it brings to you a brighter colorful way.
Our lives can be filled with little miracles all sewn together with God’s flow,
Change your life today, make this day your best rainbow.
