keep me in your heart for awhile

Often, out of our greatest rejection comes our greatest direction!

Recently I suffered a huge blow to the heart and before I could recover, boom another!
Today I realized out of my greatest rejection, comes my greatest direction!
I’m not looking back there’s nothing there but ahead are new horizons
New dreams, New thoughts, New possibilities
I am headed in that direction!

I feel you are near~my heart will go on searching

I feel you are near~my heart will go on searching
It takes awhile for me to get it, for it to sink
down to the marrow
that you are gone
my mind cannot fathom
I still watch my clock thinking of you
waiting for you, I caught myself
then I had to remind myself
you are gone
how can that be?
I can still feel you near
so my heart will go on
searching
If you are lost please find me

A.S.A.P.~Inspirations for my Uncle

Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way. There’s work to do, deadlines to meet;
You’ve got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

In the midst of family chaos,
“Quality time” is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
ASAP – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
ASAP – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He’ll respond to all your needs
A.S.A.P. – ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

I have two kids, a boy and a girl, all grown up now. But, watching them as they went through the stages of their lives, helping them understand the world, and, seeing them make their own way, made me a better man. A true privilege, and a real joy.

Kids…and, of course, coffee. Salute!

What if they have it all wrong. What if Spirit (God) isn’t judgmental, jealous, angry, and disappointed in us at all?

What if Spirit is joyfully loving, and lovingly joyful? What if She sees us as Her most perfect creation? What if every time Spirit looks at us, She does so with a smile?

What if, when Spirit feels our pain, see that we have hurt ourselves, or that we have made a mistake, He feels only love and sees the perfection that He created in us, and only waits patiently, for us to make another choice, to correct the error.

What if we are not the powerless wretches, swimming around in our own patheticness, that some would have you believe, but, in the eyes of Spirit, we are Her greatest, most cherished achievement, of which She is very pleased.

What if He would give you as many chances, as you…

Meanwhile, in Oklahoma the sun sets on my day

Meanwhile, in Oklahoma the sun sets on my day
Y’all I’m usually positive I’ve never had such storms in my life
I’m once again being turned inside out
Things come into question that have never presented a challenge before
If you are a praying person I would ask that you remember me and BB her tibia is cracked and
I’ve got this person in my life I cannot escape their mind games.
I’m taking a vacation from work till things settle down and my sound reasoning returns!
