Sometimes I’m chasing rabbits
Down the trail of no-good-sense
The longest walk I ever took…was
retracing my steps to where
I departed the trail of all good scents!

when I take off chasing rabbits
Chasing something I have no business chasing!
But it’s moving and I’m running
and off I go!!!

I said all that I can
Offered the advice
I said I wouldn’t
When one thirsts
I offer a drink
for their flesh to quench
and maybe a respite
from the drought
But when their Soul thirsts
I can throw words like water
Only One can quench the thirst
of a soul that pants
