I know this…yet I struggle to let go

Like the sadness of saying goodbye

Such a beautiful mind
both a blessing and not
I watched as she lay sleeping
Forgetful, thankful and resting
I thought to myself
She has such a beautiful mind
she thinks it drives her crazy
I believe it’s wise beyond years
So very gentle, yet broken
So mixed up, yet sane
So scary, yet funny at times
A paradox to me
This beautiful mind, does bless me
