Roses for You~Thank you for checking on me and BB. Tonight we are still waiting for test results, so while we were waiting I thought of you and wanted to thank you for thinking of us. These are the roses that BB threatens to tie to her Jeep and pull them out. They literally are almost to the top of her window and when it storms they tend to say Hi in a scratching kind of way! BB doesn’t like them but I think they love her! Thank you for loving us! I wanted you to know I appreciate your friendship!

Our beloved Belinda never stops even in her own sickness she is tender to her friends suffering. She started my day out with encouragement and I was so encouraged that I had to jump on thinkingpink and spread some PINK love for JM. Sweet Belinda told me of this post by this beautiful soul sharing about a day in the life of a “Lymie” as she refers to! We never know how others suffer when face with diseases. If you’ve battled Lyme disease (or any other chronic and/or neurological illness) for a small amount of time you’ve probably heard this phrase posed to you by doctors, family, friends, and strangers a number of times. And my guess is you’re pretty sick of it by now. Yeah, I know the feeling. It’s so funny that no matter who I talk to this always comes up. It’s also funny that when I talk to other “Lymies”, this topic is always mentioned somewhere in our conversation…and it is spoken of with great agitation.
It’s frustrating because as a chronically ill person who’s battled an “invisible illness” for a long period of time you don’t exactly know what to say when someone comments, “Oh but you look so good!” I know I should be glad that people think I look “so good” even after being sick for…
