I thought I almost lost her
This rose of mine a time or two
Winter was hard on her
I wondered what to do
I watched as the ice
It took her down
She bent under the weight
Not once did she break
I waited and prayed
I gave it all my prayers
God could you bring back
My sweet friend that always cares
Spring has come
With anticipation I waited
To see of this rose
What is her fate and she
Keeps on showing up
