Today is Your Day-and Mine

You may not know this about Shania Twain but through a series of tragedies in her life she lost her voice! When I saw this on Oprah’s OWN network I watched the entire series because I too had lost my voice! Both figuratively and literally! While I do not sing, I had no words or the ability to speak out what was in my deepest most tender heart! Finding the courage to share has been huge for me! Those of you that encourage me and lift me up give me the courage to speak and share! You know who you are so no names are needed! 💗

Once You Choose Hope, Anything Is Possible ~ Christopher Reeve

I love all of these quotes “A” posted but the one that resonates with me most is:
Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure~Napoleon Hill and “A” made a lovely quote himself “When you are on one of your downward spirals, think of it as a trampoline. It will “boing” you back up. There is always hope in everything we say, in everything we do. Even if you don’t see it straight away. Don’t give up. Have hope. Have faith. Have a breather. Smile. Anything is possible because you can achieve it.” I love his positive outlook! He’s one of my favorites! 🙂

It is amazing that this was said by a super man. He was … Superman. Christopher Reeve played the “pants on the outside, cape wearing, Lois Loving, alien”. Sure, it got him down, but it didn’t defeat him. His enemy was more than Lex Luthor, more than General Zod. His enemy was himself, but he defeated that enemy and became more of a Superman than he was before the accident. He became an inspiration. After all, if someone who can only move his head slightly can have hope, can believe anything and everything is possible, why can’t we?

When you are on one of your downward spirals, think of it as a trampoline. It will “boing” you back up. There…

Papa what’s your favorite color?

“Papa what’s your favorite color?”

“Micki blue like your eyes, one day a man will get lost in them and Violet like your Mother’s.”

My Pa bought me my first colored stone ring, Peridot my birthstone, I was 13. After that he made it his mission to buy every colored stone for me from Amethyst, Topaz to my favorite Tanzanite. I love color, I love everything about color. I love all colors, I purchase my clothing according to colors and then my closet is color organized. I love that my Pa loved blue, he always wore blue and sometime Purple Violet~I love that so much about my Pa!
