It’s hard to tame a wildflower
Or train them how to grow
You can dig them up
But next year
They’ll come back
Now, don’t you know
In the fields
I watch them gather
And they seem
To me to say
Come play here
In this field now
Wash your blues away

I wonder how much dust does it take to make a man?

Tell did you pat and form
Him with your hand?
I wonder when you breathed
The breath of life in He
Was he conscious
In a instant
The first
Face to face with Thee
What did Adam see Father
your eyes, your nose, your smile
The thought of facing you
I’ve imagined for awhile
Till then Father
I want to love
With all my heart
Help me lay down
All my plans Father
