You should write this down. Serious. The stories of the old are easily forgotten. So, here is a story for you. Several years back, my sisters and I had urged my father to write his autobiography. We thought it would be nice to know the life of a person in the early days in Undivided India, before India was partitioned into India and Pakistan. He started, then stopped. Earlier this year, I agreed with him that he and I would go for coffee once a week. He would talk and I would write. Then, he died. So that little bit of history died. Now, when I go to the Walled City, I talk to the people. I sit on the kerb with them and talk with them. His death changed my street photography.
