I’m just a ghost in this house
I’m just a shadow upon these walls
I’m living proof of what heart break does
I’m just a ghost in this house
let me be a ghost for tonight

Thank goodness our children don’t know real hunger. We are lucky to be raising them in a time when food is plentiful. She’s lucky she has you!

Being a mom made me a better person, too. I feel pretty lucky. I put love notes in two of my kids’ lunch boxes today. The cuties. I wonder if they will even notice. LOL

Yes, my kids leave me love notes, and I keep them, hidden here and there. So precious. I run across them now and then, and they never fail to make my heart feel so full it could burst. 🙂

We have ghosts. We hear them and smell them from time to time, and the cats can see them.

My wife is reading Icelandic Sagas for one of her linguistics classes, and they have lots of dangerous ghosts in the sagas. Laurie just came in from studying on the deck and said she heard a monster or ghost out in the dark, but she didn’t stick around to see which one it might be.

We have Coyotes and we see them on the ditch banks and river, and often hear them at night, but I have never seen one on our property. Our daughter has a friend who is clairvoyant, and when she was at the house some years ago, she said their was a spirit of a large dog that roamed the edges of the property and protected us. We had a Great Dane that had died about a year before she told us that. I wandered if that’s why I’ve never seen a coyote in the yard, and possibly why we get so many of the neighbors’ cats, raccoons, skunks, squirrels and porcupine on the property.
