I like this old typewriter~this old telegraph

When I look at these I think of the people that used to use them to connect us with each other. How they sent messages to loved ones. I love how sending messages made it possible to hear from a loved one all the way across the country and how sometimes that news brought great comfort to a mother and father’s hearts. I love this and I don’t want to forget it. I don’t want to forget where we came from or how we got here.

I can text in seconds and the other person might not even answer me, but when someone sent a message over this old telegraph you can bet that someone on the other end was waiting for a word, just waiting to hear!

Oh gosh don’t let us forget how important it is to reach out and touch each other. Let us not forget! I know I won’t!

    1. Yes dear I am good and still doing part of my bucket list but looks like I have started living my life in full rather than calculating the stuff I do as buket list items only..in a way I am doing much more than that and not just focusing on things in my bucket list only…Great to see you here dear 🙂 Keep in touch and keep blogging 🙂

  3. We have a similar old typewriter, in better condition, and it works. It has a set of key covers, so my daughter covered the keys and used it to teach herself touch typing. Worked really well.
