COURAGE…

courage

It takes COURAGE to allow people in my life to think the worse of me.
It does, I’ve never lost more people because I needed to be me.
The most hurtful part is when I stopped trying to please
they went away…I realize I’m better off but…
Watching them walk away…well it took all my COURAGE to not chase after them.
some days all I have is a peep but hey at least I’m peeping!

PEEP!

  1. Michelle, it is only now, toward the end of my life, that I have found the courage to fight for my right to live my life. I went from being someone’s daughter, to someone’s wife to someone’s mom. Only after they all deserted me did I realize I to am someone. Now the quiet little lamb roars like a lion, with the voice of a kitten, but I’m getting my message thru to people who need to hear it.

You have the same courage in yourself, and it will show up when it is needed. We all have it, we pull it out when it is necessary to keep us going and to keep us alive. You have the heart of a poet, but during the times of crisis in a nation, it is the poet who is imprisoned first, because the powers that be are afraid of the poet. The poet speaks truth, and truth can never be told when the powers that want to be are trying to take over. You have it MM, and you show it to us all.

    1. You are not in denial about what’s going on with family. It is true because of love for them they can be manipulative, and try to make you feel guilty. Yes there is darkness, but the light heals you. God bless you!

      1. Dear Michelle, you are generous of Spirit and that in itself can at times be tiring. Make time to love yourself, because others see the beauty in you. And those that don’t are not worth the bother, just bless them then walk away. We can’t please everyone in our daily lives. But You must love you. 🙂

Dear Michelle, I love this post, I can’t imagine anyone thinking “the worst” of you, you are a lovely person in and out! Thank you for the beauty!

  3. Sometimes we need to let the people we think we need go. Usually those negative people that only hang around because they need something from you, the moment you realize that they need to use you more than you actually need them, that’s when you need all that courage to walk.
If they have any courage themselves, they’ll either change to be a better person or just keep walking.
Very inspirational lesson to be reminded of today. Thank you!

    1. You’re welcome ^_^ I’ve chased my fair share as well, and I’m only in my 20s. My time in high school taught me to care about those who actually cared about me. Now only the ones that matter are still with me ^_^

      1. I love reading about the things you’ve done in your life, whether you seem proud of them or not. You should be happy you’ve experienced so many things and to share them here is so brave. Since I began following you on here, you are a constant inspiration to me now =) I take your advice to heart.

      3. My middle name is Rozalia, Hungarian and also a family name (my aunt, my grandmother, and my great-grandmother’s first names). I do love the name Marie, you don’t find many people whose first name is Marie, and just Marie, but I do like using my middle name for usernames.
        You’re welcome ^_^

      1. If I didn’t succeed in linking that’s a thing I am going to learn. I think I did link to your post in my post. But if I can do it better I will learn it somehow

      3. I don’t know how long I have been looking. Time flies away while blogging. In the blogging 101 course there are a lot of teaching links in the text about the tasks. But all is taken from the help& support area open for us all.

      4. I just checked the post I called ” Boundaries” inspired by your post. In the middle of the text I have highlighted your name and when I clicked on it I was led to your post. But if it’s a so called Pingback I don’t know. The admin writes that they have some trouble with Pingbacks.
