There’s something about a Mother’s love
Holding when she’s had enough
Standing to catch her breath
Then settling in for the long hold
Cause this life is rough on babies
This life is rough on us all
I wish we all had mothers that hold
I’m thankful that I am one!
Once I wished for a mom that held me
Once she touched my cheek
and said your hair is so pretty
I waited for her to hug me but she didn’t
I realized that touch was like a hold to her
Meanwhile, my heart has friends that hold and
to me that’s enough, more than enough!

    1. Oh what a precious comment. There is something about momma that they just know things. I know this. I think they hold closest the pieces we leave behind so they can read them. My Pa did this. I have all his briefcases stuffed full of writings, cards and all those precious pieces of me and my siblings he held on to! I believe those are the sweetest most tender moments! Like little whispers from their heart when they move on! Thank you for this Carl! Blessings on your day!
