I do reach back to my roots when my faith is tested. I put on the garment of praise and sing from my soul and remind myself God is faithful and has gotten me this far with my girl, but at that mid-night hour, mine seems to be all different times of the day–like now. I’m not going to pretend everything is okay but I share that this is how I make it through the mid-night hour! So if you feel to listen do if not that’s okay too!
Very nice. Thank you for sharing this. It is great to have faith in a better-than-great God. May your faith stay very strong.

I think so too! I grew up in “The church” worse place ever. I didn’t have a good experience so I ran as far away God and those people as I could get. When I had my daughter and she was sick at the age of 2. I never knew how I would sleep another night without knowing that God was real. I have proof that prayer works, my girl she’s now 22 and facing another illness that has taken her sight. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been on this love walk with God since 2000, it just gets sweeter.

I grew up in church myself, and I had many bad church experiences. I had been driven away from the church many times, but a few people befriended me and brought me back. For once I met real godly people who lived the way they talked. I am in an enjoyable church now, and I feel God’s presence more and more.

Awe well I think that is wonderful. I’m not in a church and I’m okay with it. My friend shared this song
http://youtu.be/EEVuKO1OvSk my Pa used to say he felt closer to God outdoors I’m that way too.
