She believes in Magic
Not the black kind, but Blue
It shines down from heaven
on me and you

She believes in Magic
Not the black kind, but Blue
It shines down from heaven
on me and you
There is a hallowed ground
In another’s suffering
Sometimes there are no words
In fact I know there aren’t
I just bow my head and wait…
For the pain to lift…
Or a sign of relief
When I see a change
in countenance
Or think I see one
I realize sometimes
It’s a deeper surrender
the pain asks of me
So we do together
and
We are forever changed

Some days it’s hard to know what to do
or say so I silently wait, for something
I don’t know what about that either.
Mostly I don’t have any answers and
it’s so hard to talk and follow through
some days. Today is that day for me.

Hi All!
Melanie here. Just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have been sending in submissions. As you may have noticed I haven’t responded to you or posted anything new for a couple weeks… I’ve been a bit under the weather and have completely neglected Artists4Peace and my own blog.
Sorry about that BUT I promise I will be reviewing and posting submissions over the next few days. In fact I will probably spread them out and post a few each day 🙂
Thank you for your continued support and for your understanding! AND keep the submissions coming!!!

World Peace~Cascade from A4P

Weapons were silenced
A hush fell over the Earth
World peace was a reality
~
On battlefields every where
Soldiers began to sing
Weapons were silenced
~~
Refusing to fight anymore
For lands that were to be shared
A hush fell over the Earth
~~~
Rushing across the fields
Anxious to know their enemies
World peace was a reality
They studied war no more
