Show AnTell Me About It
Why did I add Show?
My blog “Tell Me About It,” has been such a blessing sharing and becoming friends with so many of you. Originally I had planned to name my blog Show AnTell because when I was young kids used to call me “Show AnTell.” As a kid one of my nicknames was Micki Show AnTell.
It makes me smile when I think how much I loved Show and tell and a kid. My first Show and Tell my Pa brought my little sister. He proudly stood before my class and my teacher remarked how wonderful it was that my last name is Antell and we were showing and sharing my, then baby sister. Show AnTell has so many wonderful memories like my Pa and my sister and that day.
So instead of Tell Me About It, Show AnTell Me About It…
- Show me your Kindness, don’t tell me you are kind, and use your words to be mean.
- Show me your Gentleness, don’t tell me you are gentle, then act the mean and harsh.
- Show me your Goodness, don’t tell me how good, and then well we all see where this is going!
Show me your Heart. ❤
Because I see it already, rather you realize it or not.
For it is out the the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Chantilly Grace
My Pa said, “She had Chantilly Grace,” and I always wondered too myself…wasn’t that lace?
Oh but he said, “It’s so much finer than that, she has the kind of grace that when she left the room she took my heart with her.” Oh I said, “Pa I want that kind of grace one day,” and he said. “You’ve already got it, the day I first held you in my arms, I knew my heart would break a thousand times watching you go, now straighten up an act like it.” I smile just thinking of that day! I still don’t know what he meant but he always made it sound so pretty and I loved that about him.
