Spread some Wednesday Sunshine

The images of my mind
like the circles that I find
In the reels that play my mind
No relief but sweet sleep
If but for a second to rest my mind
half remembered snippets
bits and piece
I know not where to go
To remember things forgotten
Must I remember?
I think not
I make peace with
The images of my mind
And hold them
No longer scary but sad!

matured like old wine
glean from it what you will
or cast it all aside
I grow weary in my tutelage
and surely will digress
I would rather be else where
nevertheless
still I pour
will you drink?

all over and out

she promised herself
