People come into your life for a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime

When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do
for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need
you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically,
emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend, and they are!
They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong
doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do
something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a
stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered,
and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has
come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or
make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They
usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real!
But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must
build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to
accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use
in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love
is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life.

This inspiration from my Uncle Gunn blessed me this morning.

I am thankful to have him in my life and I love him to pieces.

Forever Green~Inspirations from my Uncle Gunn

Forevergreen

FOREVER GREEN
Green is the color that I truly love,
Green is the color that I often think of.
So precious of a sight to see
The tiny spouting inner leaf.

Just when I think that I have mastered “the know”
That is when it is time to grow
Just as the inner leaf has taken form
That is when I am forewarned

For to be fully grown is a master plan
When I am fully grown, I will be in HIS hands
For my work here will be done with toil and pride
And forever I will be by HIS side

But till then green is what I want to know,
When I am green, I will always grow.
I will seek out progress, and not perfection
For I will not know all, nor all the directions

Show me the way that HE would have me go,
For I have not the answers, nor do I know
To HIM I beg for knowledge and dream
That I will be Forever Green.

Contentment~Being sixteen again and young at heart~Inspirations from my Uncle

Contentment (1 of 1)
CONTENTMENT
Find contentment not in wishing for ALL of what you want,
But in the realization of how much that you already HAVE.
Loose the Closed Mind to watch the world open up in blossoms before your eyes,
While the weight off of your shoulders become feather light.
Great service in establishments are plentiful. Our great service to ALL other human beings is
Found in those rare humans that treat EVERYONE as God’s miracle in giving contentment.
Being sixteen again and young at heart is not something we try on now and then,
It is an ongoing mindset in contentment.

Gunnarisms Two
11.  There is no normalcy, there just IS.
12.  There is no normal life, there is just Life!
13.  A million dollars is worthless to have, if you don’t have your sanity to behold it, therefore SANITY ? ? ? ? PRICELESS! ! !
14.  This is “Your brain on LIFE,” it the best drug of all because God gave it to your FOREVER for FREE!
15.  What we want and what we need are two totally different entities. Need more and want less. Give more and expect less.
16.   It is said that “Life Is Work.” Our lives are BIG personal jobs that require TONS of OUR work, so

WORRYING

Worrying about what might be, wondering what might have been? You will ignore what IS.
Worry doesn’t help tomorrow’s troubles, but it DOES ruin today’s happiness.
A problem not worth praying about is not worth worrying about.
The God Stop is open 24/7 – give your troubles and worries to HIM.
Why worry when you can pray?- Gunnar Timothy

Wisdom from my Uncle Gunn~Gunnarisms~Part One

Gunnarisms—Part One
▪ Worry = Fear
▪ Fear is lack of faith in God. Do the work, . . .FIND GOD.
▪ You can plan the plans, but outcomes are in HIS hands.
▪ The best outcome is a no expectation outcome. All expectations then become a gift.
▪ The best navigational steering in Life is when you “Let Go Of The Wheel.” DAH—God has been steering the whole time anyway – Helloooo?!
▪ You can only hope for the best, and expect the worst.
▪ If you really HAVE PREPARED for the worst, then when the worst happens—
it is no longer the worst—it just IS.
▪ The enemy is us inside our brain—”Ourselves.” We can be our own worst enemy.
▪ When it is tough to be “In Our Heads,” get out and DO SOMETHING, OR SEE SOMEONE—take the focus off of self.
▪ I am powerless over people, places and things, but I can empower myself to face what I am not powerless over. That clears away about 50% of Our Day !

Dreams~Inspirations for my Uncle Gunn

Dream (1 of 1)
DREAMS
Hold fast to Your dreams~for if You let Your dreams die,
Life can become a broken winged bird that cannot fly.
Reach high for the stars that lie hidden in your soul,
And dream deep, for your next dream just may proceed your goals.
We have not failed YET within our self worth!!. . . .
We just found 10,000 ways that won’t work!
Dream it to LIVE it….Let no dreams die.
Problems are just opportunities in disguise.
Look down ALL avenues, for that is where the answer lies.

The Gifts of Life~Inspirations from my Uncle Gunn

ThegiftsofLife (1 of 1)
THE GIFTS OF LIFE
There is no such thing as strangers, only friends that we have not yet met.
This life, OUR life, is God’s greatest gift to YOU!… so get excited and OPEN IT!
Being alert in giving service to what counts a great deal in life, is found in “what we do for others!”
Self contentment is NOT the fulfillment of what YOU want, but the realization of how much you already have given to others.
Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don’t say.
To behold a vast everlasting treasure in your life, all you need to do is give ALL you have!
Strangers will become the gift of “friends” and remain your permanent bookends.

STRENGTH AND COURAGE~Inspirations from my Uncle Gunn

Strengthandcourage (1 of 1)
STRENGTH AND COURAGE

It takes strength to be certain. It takes courage to have doubt.
It takes strength to fit in. It takes courage to stand out.
It takes strength to feel a friend’s pain. It takes courage to dry out from our own rain.
It takes strength to look at their sorrows. It takes courage to stand in their pain.
It takes strength to remain humble. It takes courage to fight being mad.
It takes strength to live in the moment. It takes courage to wish you’ve always had.
It takes strength in knowing that you’d never fit. It takes courage to live as it never mattered one bit.
It takes strength to be an island. It takes courage to stand on the borders of it.

And if we ever substitute strength for courage, we are certain to stand in the windfall,
of self-destructive paths, leading to uncertain downfalls.
So we can shine on, move ahead with God’s light beaming so brilliantly,
As we know the difference of strength and courage, thinking as HE does miraculously.
