pants rolled up to my knees

lost his balance cause he knew
it made me laugh to see
him lose his place
cause the only place he’d stand

There wasn’t a mountain
he couldn’t climb
and my mind drifts
back to a special time
I watched my dad
as he fell a tree
just one chainsaw
and strong as could be
He scaled up the ladder
without any hands
cause the branch
that he spotted
was buggin’ him bad
Then with a mighty
Timber he’d yell but
this time from the ladder
I swore as he fell
from 20 ft tall
I ran to him quickly
to see was he gone
he smiled so sweetly
and I leaned down to hear
he said, hey
where’s my beer?
I love you Pa
I miss you like crazy!

sometimes wishes don’t come true
because that is how life is…
however, knowing this is powerful!
that’s how I feel!
I don’t just say and wish I mean it damn it!

sometimes,
the person who tries to keep everyone happy
is always the most lonely person,
so never leave them alone
because the will never say that they need you.
they just won’t they’ll just go away…
then what?

when things get awfully tiring,
seek for silence.
